We wanted to let you know about some improvements we've made with our bagged coffee beans! First, we have new resealable bags with one-way valves that will help keep your coffee fresher. Second, we created a simple label that allows us to provide a few details about the coffee, as well as a "Roasted on" date. Third, we have decided to move away from the one pound bag to a 12 oz bag. The resealable closure on the new bags made grinding 16oz of coffee a challenge, as the final ounces of ground coffee would try to spill out. We figured you don't like wasting delicious coffee anymore than we did, so we made the change. An added benefit will be decreased shipping expenses. If I had to simmer and reduce my vision of what I want Rocktown Coffee Roasters to be into a simple word or phrase, it would have to be : "Take Care." Take care of the customer. Take care of the equipment. Carefully prepare drinks. Demonstrate a caring attitude about people, feelings, responsibilities. While we can't duplicate the experiences of your favorite day spa, I do hope that when you conclude your transaction with us, you are left with that sense of well-being, the thought that "They took excellent care of me." While it's a natural thing for coffee enthusiasts like me to be more focused on the coffee we're brewing, or the particular brewing method we're using, I hope to build this company to be customer-focused.
